SPARK OF FAITH CAMPS & REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

Registration for summer Spark of Faith Camps open in the spring of each year.

Participants must be no younger than 7 or older than 17 during camp dates. (As of Jan 1)   Applicants will be placed in camp sessions and you will be emailed if your child was accepted for a spot or placed on the waiting list.  

 

Summer Spark of Faith Sessions

Run from June through August.  Camps start early June and run  through August.  Participants come once a week for 90 minutes and work ONE-on-ONE with a mentor and a horse.  Participants are asked to commit to attending seven of the 9 week camps.  If for some reason there is more than two absences anticipated we will place the child on the wait list.  Our mentors, are volunteers and we value their time, so if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, or no show–your camp spot will be given to someone else and the child will be put on the wait list.

What do you do during camp:

Camp starts with a whole group devotional time.

We then do a chore together.

The remaining hour is spent 1:1 with a mentor working with horses, making crafts, our group may do some horse games also.

WAIT LIST:

If an opening for a camp spot comes available--an email will be sent out to those on the wait list and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

​Camp Cost:  Free.  

Our goal is to keep camp affordable  for everyone.  ​

​Requirements:Wear closed toed shoes (no crocks) boots preferred.  ​
