Spark of Faith Mentor Camps

Our mentor camps meet as small groups, from June to August. During camps children are paired with a mentor after devotional time. During these 90 minute camps, children (ages 7-17) may spend time with horses or choose from a variety of crafts to do at the ranch.

Our Spark of Faith Camps are filled on a first come basis and offered to all at no cost.

Spark of Faith--Referral Mentor Session

Qualifications

These faith based one/one equine mentored sessions are provided for FREE to all at- risk and/or disadvantaged children ages 7-18. These sessions are established by referrals from local: pastors, school staff or counselors, case managers, medical professionals, and other services that identify at-risk youth in crisis or working through trauma.

Horsemanship Lessons

Our basic horsemanship lessons are designed to teach the fundamentals of good horsemanship. During this hour session we will work on riding and non-riding skills to strengthen overall riding knowledge and enhance horse savvy abilities.

Individualized or group FBEAP mentoring

FBEAP: Faith Based Equine Assisted Philosophy. In this individual or group mentored session we use one or more horses-- as we process through a variety of scenarios. The horse helps us see a new perspective--and our vision is to shed the love and light of Jesus to all who come to the ranch.
